You must be younger than I was thinking.

I like Neil Young and consider him worthy, but he's no Bob Dylan.
I like Neil Young. I like Bob Dylan.

I like Bob Dylan more.

But both have written songs that would be on the soundtrack of my life.

Confidential to Spookyfish: Sweetie Pie, I keep scrolling by your posts because I don't recognize them as you with that little elf-y thing as your avatar. I keep thinking "I want to be a dentist". Please don't ever change.

Pettitte? Gone. Or, if you live in Houston, say "Hello, Andy."

Well, Beyonce will not age like fine wine, so enjoy it while its hot. Beyonce is sporting an impressively large backyard, and she's clearly going to be expanding her land holdings in the future.

Then the hell with the stupid wedding, please give us commentary on that recockulous bachelor party show last week. I skimmed past it mostly because I wanted to see Ryan upset about being set up by ABC to cheat with the strippers.

Ty, I love ya and all that, but it's time to discuss the next rumor, which is whether the Yanks, in desperation, will trade Weaver for 38 y.o. K. Brown, and his $15m/year contract. And, if so, why pay Brown $15m, when they weren't willing to pay Pettite, a younger lefty, $13M?

I just don't understand why the Dodgers would make that trade. Even if Brown is old and well paid.

And on Pettitte, I was worried he was using Houston for leverage, the way Bernie Williams did a few years ago.

I'd say it started on the first day he had to sing through the Dead's sound system.

I always cringed at the Dead doing Dylan tunes. It never worked. The only thing worse was "Dylan and the Dead", which is ear torture.

But I do have to admit hearing Bobby ham up Queen Jane was funny.

I sat through three shows of D and the D. It was free, which was the only reason I made it to numbers two and three.

It was like sitting in a white noise generator, with a beat.

A friend tried to play Postcards from the Hanging for me recently. I told him I'd leave if he forced me to listen to it.

I'm amazed by these people who'll listen to ANY Dead as though it was all great. Seeing Jerry fall into the mic in a heroin daze was not great. It was awful. The religious fervor this band inspires in certain people is remarkable; they endure some really terrible music from the band's later stages and swear, despite the objective awfulness of the music, that "its fucking great."
