I just had the opportunity to read the January 2004 Esquire and I want to retract an earlier statement that implied that I found the concept of sex with Jack Nicholson disgusting. Is crack cheaper because it's cheaper to make, or is it cheaper because of where and to whom it's sold? I.e., is it a supply function or a demand function?

It can't be cheaper to make because the main ingredient is the same, plus you have to factor in the cost of labor to manufacture.
I believe crack is cheaper because you can purchase a smaller quantity. A rock is easier to market than trying to weigh and fold thousands of little packets of blow.
