No, but I once followed a renowned New Haven panhandler known as the "How Ya Doin' Guy" for a few hours. I had the idea to do a story for a humor/tabloid publication I co-founded about how the How Ya Doin Guy wasn't homeless at all.
After following him for a few hours, I determined that if he wasn't homeless, he was pretty fuckin close to it, and I nixed the story idea.
