Don't know for sure, but I think there are some Internet resources for DTV technophiles with tips about what kind of energy-retaining window coatings, bug screens, etc. will degrade the signal. You should check those out before getting disappointed with signal levels through your particular window. Mebbe DTV will send out an installer to measure the signal for you. I'm almost certain they'll let you cancel without obligation if you can't get a sufficient signal. (Duh.)

I recommend the AVS forum, esp. the tivocommunity.com forum. They're nerdy, helpful, and only occasionally cruel to newbies. Yours will not be regarded as an unusual question.

Once again, she's not a butterface, but she's just not that pretty...in the face.

Better looking than Jesse Spanow but not as pretty as Kelly Kapowski.

Alert your lawyers, penske. (press release on yahoo from paigow claiming she invented calling slave "shave"*) (oops, I meant press release on yahoo from some guy apologizing for inventing the word "metrosexual" -- seen by me via www.gawker.com)

Favorite line: The gay daddy of the metrosexual also makes a startling confession in SEX TERROR: "Clearly I display some of the symptoms of male vanity, but I'm a rather bad metrosexual.

"As my penchant for man-made fibre-rich sportswear and white socks would suggest, I'm more of a 'lesbosexual'.

*Just kidding, sweetie. Apropos of nothing, I've always been a big fan of paigowisms. And you know that I dig you in that Frank and Mia kinda way. Oh, and that reminds me -- we should have gone to that Halloween party as Gene Rayburn and Joanne Worley. Not that John and Yoko wasn't a big hit at the club.

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20031119/D7UTSQF80.html

From the article:

The warrant was for violation of Section 288(a) of the California Penal Code - which prohibits lewd or lascivious acts with a child under age 14. The California Penal Code says anyone convicted of the crime can be punished by three to eight years in prison.

&

Court TV, citing unidentified sources, reported that the allegations were brought by a 12- or 13-year-old boy. And the television program "Celebrity Justice" said a therapist reported disclosures by a boy who spent time at Neverland and began therapy several months ago.

Didn't Michael's attorneys prepare any legal risk memos highlighting the fact that Michael should only molest boys aged 14 and over? Couldn't his handlers find underdeveloped 14-year olds and tell Michael they were 12 or 13? I am shocked at this display of incomptence.

I believe they did but that this boy lied about his age.

Michael recently outsourced all the due dilligence to India. This one just slipped between the cracks.

The kid allegedly told his psychiatrist that Jackson plied him with wine and sleeping pills, and afterward lavished gifts on his family and offered to move them to South America.

Apparently the kid is a cancer patient who wanted to meet Michael as his last wish and is still in poor health... If he did molest this kid, he is truly a sick fuck even among the sick fucks that pedophiles are already.

Kidding aside, they should go after his butler, his personal assistant, his driver, his laundress, his lawyers and all the parents of the kids. You can't live a Jabba the Hut lifestyle of "bring a fresh one to me" serial molestation without a great deal of help in the form of willful blindness or active solicitation.

Agreed. Although I can respect the cabalishness, Michael would be a perfect movie villain if he wasn't such a pussy. It appears that the Neverland Empire was nothing more than a vast conspiracy designed to deliver atm.*

And then my question - what do folks think of the longer hair on her? I think shorter was better (surprising b/c I typically would err the other way).

And for those who are curious, there are pics of Britney looking like a cocktail waitress and Sandra Bullock looking oddly pregnant in a cutaway dress (I think it was the angle of the photo) on the E! Fashion Police section this week...

She should definitely cut her hair. I'll sound like my mother, but she shouldn't hide that face.

Her boobs look a bit ridgey there. Shadows maybe? Don't tell me they're fake. (Settle down, Francis, this is not an accusation. My score on the Playboy test was an abysmal 6/12.)

She is the only person I can think of who looks better with short hair. with long hair she looks like a generic pretty black lady* like toni braxton(?).

James and Jai?

realityblurred reports it --

Inbreeding among reality TV show stars is not uncommon, and the reality TV shows on Bravo seem to offer no exception. Two of the network's more recent and popular reality shows may have produced a union between Queer Eye for the Straight Guy's Jai Rodriguez and Boy Meets Boy's James Getzlaff. The two "looked quite cozy ... at Saturday night's performance of 'Little Shop of Horrors' at the Virginia Theater," Rush & Molloy report (last item). James previously broke up with Wes, who he met on his show.

Also tonight is apparently the finale of Bachelor Bob. Is anyone watching this?
