Thank you. This post reminded me of a quote from Stewie on the Family Guy, which gave me a chuckle. So again, thank you.

"Ha ha ha! Oh gosh that's funny! That's really funny! Do you write your own material? Do you? Because that is so fresh. You are the weakest link goodbye. You know, I've, I've never heard anyone make that joke before. Hmm. You're the first. I've never heard anyone reference, reference that outside the program before. Because that's what she says on the show right? Isn't it? You are the weakest link goodbye. And, and yet you've taken that and used it out of context to insult me in this everyday situation. God what a clever, smart girl you must be, to come up with a joke like that all by yourself. That's so fresh too. Any, any Titanic jokes you want to throw at me too as long as we're hitting these phenomena at the height of their popularity. God you're so funny!"

You've all been very silent lately. Because I am a petty motherfucker, I'd like to remind you that I tried to warn you that T.O. would implode sometime, and many of you said, no, no it's different this time, blah blah blah. It's only been a year.

Discuss. Or talk about law schools and catfight somemore.

Don Henley must die. Don't let him get back together with Glenn Fry. I do find Joe Walsh mildly amusing, though. The James Gang kinda rawked.

Sometimes, and this is not often, but America West is the only non-stop to certain cities from certain cities. This is only reason I know how crappy and rude they are.

I have never been harassed by an airline employee, but I have very often seen airline employees get harassed by people who think the person behind the desk can do anything other than fuck-all about theproblem, which is usually the fucking weather or a mechanical problem. Sometimes they can be brusque, but who can really blame them.

Back to the good ole days, greed

The last two weeks my phone has been ringing off the hook with job openings from headhunters (2 firms, 1 financial institution, and 1 vendor). Apparently my line of work in the legal field is a hot commodity. I just returned from a second interview for a position at one of the law firms. Good news is it would be $20-30,000 more than I am making now. Bad news is it's another law firm. I'm sick of the law firm gig and my dream job has me going in-house so I can call the law firm on Friday afternoon and tell them to work all weekend.

So, if I get an offer, do I take the money and run or hold out for possible interviews for the in-house position?

Typically abuse service people for problems that aren't their fault?

(And no, but good work, Hank, that was the equivalent of NFH's asking someone if she has PMS in response to a snarky post.)
