After being forced to buy a fucking Vista PC for my wife's job, having used only macs and occasional XP for the past 3 years, I can truly say that the mac/pc commercials don't do Vista justice.

And as far as the Mojave experiment: give me a fucking break.

No one with the brain of an amoeba would think that this piece of shit operating system would be any good at anything other than taking a flying fuck at a rolling donut.

This analysis seemed spot-on to me and then moreso after my visit to the Apple store yesterday. I inquired about a battery replacement (thanks to Icky for his helpful remarks earlier) and the greeter's first impulse was to tell me that I could trade in the old one for 10% off whatever new one I buy. I plan to buy a new one but was thinking about giving my old one to my nephew. It costs $80 to replace the battery and I have to make an appointment to do it. Sufficiently expensive and a pain in the ass that it's not worth it. I probably will just trade in the old one just for recycling reasons when I buy a new one in a few weeks.

Also, the place was pretty full, compared to the rest of the mall on a Friday afternoon, and considering that everyone is supposedly not spending their money on frivolous retail.

i just found out Ty stole my login and has been posting saying I'm voting for obama. everyone, if you support the american way, you must reject Ty's crimes and vote for mccain.

Oh my. Suddenly, I do not know if I know this Obama fellow well enough. Who is he really. I clearly must vote for McCain. Thank you for bringing this outrageous crime to my attention.
