ISo, the big question is: Where to Bostonians go when they want to have a good time?
Summary of answer on the FB:

Montreal or the Foxy Lady in Providence.

Yes, that mid-season pitching "help" been completely not. Only a gasoline can would have been more effective.
Giambi hasn't done much except collect his paycheck.
I have not been impressed with BK Kim. Every time that guys takes the mound I get nervous. They really need some solid relief pitchers and a closer.

I am glad to see that Manny stopped wearing his pajama pants and has gone retro with his red knee socks. The patent leather saddle-shoe-like spikes are a snazzy look.

That's hilarious! The closest place poor blue-balled Bostonian boys can go to relieve their pressure is Providence?

Man, I love this town.

Just to set the record straight, I'm not a blue-balled Bostonian boy. Just passing along info that I've heard my Bostonian boy friends talk about. Since they are just friends I can't attest to the color of their balls.

For pure entertainment value, I understand that amatuer night at the Squire (I think that's what its called) can be fun. Its either a total train wreck or pretty good.

The Squire? (shiver) Scary. How would their amateur night be any different that a summer afternoon at Revere Beach (thongs and high heels).

I have always been curious about that place, but haven't had the courage to go in. I have a feeling the regulars in there could tell you a few things about the Susan Taraskiwicz (sp?) murder. If anyone goes or has been, please post a description. Inquiring minds want to know.

Edited because I really can't spell.

So, now you've got me curious. What exactly goes on at the Foxy Lady that doesn't go on in Boston? Stories? Rumors?

Heck, as the Boston firms don't appear to be doing anything interesting, we've gotta talk about something.

Shall we organize a Flash Mob at a strip club? I haven't been to any strip clubs in the States, only ones in Montreal, and that would give me a good excuse to go to one. But not the Squire, it's too scary.

I'm not so sure I would go, as every time I've been the performers try to drag me up on stage. But, I do like hearing about others' stories. So, pony up, Bostonians. I'm sure that you're not all as uptight as Ally McBeal.

Well, there's not much to tell. Apparently I'm irresistable. :P

Those silly girls on stage always want to share the fun. Last time I went, I made $20 (all in ones) from the other girls on stage. It's a bit like being at a teenager's slumber party, but with men ogling you and watching your antics.

Jeesh, you'd think they never saw a Borg undress.

So apparently Gordon Hayes is departing the ever shrinking THT. He's a meaningful loss for them. Who is next? What dates are y'all claimin in the dead pool?

What makes you think he wasn't pushed out?
Dead weight can survive in any firm for only so long. Even long-termers eventually get the boot.

He's got a good reputation around town and has always impressed me as someone who added something to the place.

Do I sense a bit of defensiveness here? Tell us what you know.
