Paigs,

Sometimes... actually often, I think you're playing to an audience a lot more select than you realize.

I'll give you a hint - the crowd of people who understood your last post have all been in your kitchen at one time or another.

She was posting your opinion on JM. Which you have posted here before. You quoted her post that was essentially quoting you and then agreed with it.

I'm not sure which type of Whiff that is, but it is definitely somewhere in the family.

But not as sore (and itchy) as the last person who was in your kitchen. At least until the intramuscular penicillin and the permethrin kicked in.

Everybody stop arguing about whether you or your opponent "whiffed."

There are few things that make this place sound more incestuous, introverted, and plain pathetic than watching posters snip at each other over who got the fucking joke, what the joke was originally about, or whether there was one in the first place.

If you're that emotionally involved in whether either you, or your opponent of the moment, "whiffed," you need to stop, smell your own goddamned post, and realize that what you just wrote carries more geeky odor than a Dungeons & Dragons convention.

1) I bet you said "Everybody" instead of "Everyone" on purpose. Like that will work.

2) There was no actual whiff when the whiffcusation occured. It was more a segueway to some other meta nonsense. BUt, in an ironic twist, it elicited a whiff. And then a presumptive whiff made itself apparen,t though initially it was not. I don't think you read all the posts. Please pay attention.

I do not follow. The presumptive whiff was best exemplified by ncs's recent PW where she assumed that I posted purposefully in the opiion of Sebby on what she thought was one of his old retread topics, along the lines of Tools in Law and No Horns in Music. But she presumed incorrectly. Its almost a reverse whiff if you look at it from a linear POV. A whiff in the wrong direction.

In early 2008 it becomes clear that the sock known as Mr. Ebola, who had to leave because of the "kike" controversy, was actually resurrected as Gattigap.

Gattigap posted a long apology about how he has friends who are Jews and eventually he was forgiven. He even went back to the original name.

I remember Mr. Ebola and that controversy! People act like they are leaving the board, but they just come back under new identities., much like J Fred Socks. ANyway, I thought Mr. E was actually MR, JKIKE or Hank

More embarrassing than seeing frontal nudity at an R rated movie with dad at the age of 14 or less?

I was scarred by Flashdance.

I would say it was more embarassing then seeing Saturday Night Fever with my parents somewhere in my tweens, but not as embarrasssing as sitting between ole mom and dad at Ten, orgie scenes and all. My dad covered my eyes.

IT would have been less embarrassing had i not known you from the FB, aka Threeway board, and thought you guys might have thought I was trying to seduce you or something.

No doubt the signing of Parage settling the dispute over the sovereignty of Andora (primary medieval economic product: sheep) helped stabilize the market for wool in Spain considerably. While in modern times the involvement of the church in political affairs is frowned upon, its part in brokering the deal - allowing both France and Spain to concentrate on other threats to their other borders.

Frankly, however, the French should have held out for full control - the Spanish were having serious problems on their southern borders still with the Moors, and would have caved.
