Too true. The '75 DC show I recently acquired has "Box of Rain." There are some songs that should never be covered by other bands. This is the opposite; only other bands should be allowed to play "Box" live. Great song, but Phil's singing? When you sound that bad next to Jerry and Bobby...

I swam the lunchtime Masters workout at the Westwood Community Center pool. He waterwalked in the open swim lane, as it was a less stressful (on his fucked up knees) form of aerobic exercise. The concurrent pool uses ran the same time, 11:45-1 M-F, so we were always in the 500 SFt lockerroom together.

Circa 93-94.

Prior to that I used to share a lockerroom with Jesse Jackson in DC. We would discuss politics.
