I would be willing to believe someone substituted body-colored stuff for all the black stuff, though, that seems like a huge pain in the ass and pointless, given all of the black stuff on the Fiat (not just along the bottom, but all around the tires and shit).

Next time I will follow it to its eventual destination, even if I have to throw pee bombs out the window of the car.

I really won't be able to pee if I'm trying to follow this vehicle -- even if they stop and get out, I can't go do it because I might miss them and I don't want to accost them at a truck stop or whatever. It's far more disturbing if I follow them all the way to the ultimate destination.

OK, the bimmer lease is almost up and though it spends about 1 day per month in the shop, it has been OK.

However, I don't want to lease any more. I want to buy and being a poor slob want to spend as little as possible for something nice that will stay out of the shop.

Seems to handle well, sells for about 27k, japanese reliability. Either that or a new Accord or Civic.

Shame, as I have said, my buyout is only 20k on my lease but even if I buy an extended warranty from BMW, I still cannot take the time to bring the damn thing into the shop every other week.

I'm in the same boat right now. The Bimmer runs well and is fun to drive, but the fucking car is so goddamned tempermental. Every other month some small item goes on it. Its not huge shit, but stuff that needs to be dealt with, and I don't have the fucking time. I'm tinkering with flipping it and getting another Toyota. The problem is, the wifey likes the fucking Bimmer...

I saw one of these monstrosities on the road this morning. In dark blue. And if it's possible, it's even more ugly IRL. The grill is the whole front of the vehicle. And not in a good way.

Love it, love it, love it. So much nicer inside than previous Subarus. Not as nice as some high end German machines, but you get what you pay for. Fast, fast, fast, and all wheel drive, to boot. Handles decently, smooth shifter and relatively light clutch. No one (other than car people) will be impressed when you tell them that you drive a Subaru, but you knew that before you suggested it.
