Yes, your box should be completely shaven.

I don't mind being on ignore lists, particularly those of a 12-headed hydra like Paigow or an ass-stench obsessed freak like Thurgreed, but this junior-high bragging about who's on it and who's not is boring as hell. It makes you look insecure and weak---ignore people or don't, but please just shut the fuck up. And while you're at it, don't make yourself look like an idiot by proclaiming who is on your list, then commenting on (thus clearly reading) em's posts anyway. Just sad.

Hair color is too important to leave to a box. I've never done home hair color, but I have seen plenty of bad dye jobs. Don't be that girl.
I'd more or less concur. Unless you are going for a uniform color within a shade or two of your natural color, home dyes aren't worth the risk. Going much lighter, or doing highlights, is not something anyone can do competently at home. At least not on themselves.

However, the current trend in haircolor is a darker single process. Blonde and highlights are out. Worth considering, I guess. If you've already got lightened hair, though, at least the first time I'd get a single-process done professionally, too.

Amen. I love the ignore list. It allows me to get actual work done, rather than waste time fighting with a particular board denizen. Which of course keeps my down, but that's okay.

But the pettiness really ought to stop.

I thought it was obvious by using a "the" to designated the ITLA, that the A menat Association, not ANonymous. And until I see an official user's guide on the appropriate use of the Ignore list that makes it a crime to use it inappropriaately, then I will use it and discuss it as I see fit. If you dont like it, ignore me. and feel free to tell me so. frankly, I would rather know I am being ignored than thinkI am posting to a quasi room full of quasi people

And if my IL constituencey does not care for me to talk about them, then they can ignore me. Quite frankly, I suspect they like the atteniton. besides me and TM, who talks about PJ? Besdies me, who talks about Chevy? I keep him from being a dinosaur running to the left since he dont post here much. Frankly, he shoudl thank me.

Kill Bill

Is anyone planning on seeing this? I loved Pulp Fiction, liked Reservoir Dogs, and never saw Jackie Brown. Of the movies that he wrote, but didn't direct, I've only seen True Romance, which I love. The reviews so far look good, and I've been loving the previews.

Here's hoping.

I have seen two really sucky reviews of it. WSJ (which frankly I don't often put too much stock in) and somewhere else that right now I am forgetting.

edited to ask is that your puppy? cute.

That's her. Pretty much a ball of fluff right now, but she's damned cute. Surprisingly quick, and I think she may very well be smarter than me. I foresee trouble.

She's making a one-day avatar appearance, and then I'll go back to the meltdown in Texas. :)

Reviews I've seen range from 3 - 4 stars (Ebert). Definitely want to see it. Seems pretty bizarre. Tough call whether to see that or the new Coen Brothers movie first (reviews 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 stars).

Edited to add: Cute puppy, RT. Kind of looks like a little bear in that picture...

Allow me to be the first to say that this may be the single worst submission I have read so far...

Paigow, what do we have for him? A set of Ben Wah Triangles? A year's supply of genital itching? A crock pot from Service Merchandise?

Cause really...this sucked.
