Yes there is some of that also. But I remember playing poker with a bunch of my friends and we were trying to figure out why none of us cheated. When you took exams in your rooms no one would ever know. I think a lot of it was it seemed really lame if no one could catch you.

Would make for an interesting psychological study.

In high school they watched us like hawks. All sorts of people cheated. I thought about cheating, but never had the nerve. My conclusion is that cheating is caused more by a thrill of beating the system that it is in getting better grades.
I never cheated off another in college. My first exam, first week, freshman year, a comely co-ed asked to cheat off me during a quiz. I wasn't under oath not to let her cheat, so I felt was okay to do. Also I thought maybe one good will gesture could beget another. Sadly,I was off on that thought, although the next year I did hit her roommate's action, which is something. I guess.

Yes, it would (make for an interesting study). I would never even have thought of it the way you are talking about, at least not at a conscious level.

I just realized that with the addition of but one little punctuation mark, an anagram of the acronym for this board is "W: twit"

Heh.

If this was the politics board I might delete such a drivelous post. This board deserves (and that) deserve higher quality posts. Please keep the non-sense on the FB.

I'd never steal from a friend or a person. I'd never cheat at cards. And I'm generally honest.

But I see no moral quandary with cheating in a situation where people are watching you and if you get caught, you're fucked. If you have the balls to succeed at it under such tough circumstances, you deserve the reward you get.

But there's usually so much effort in cheating successfully that you might as well just study.

Thats a fuck up on your part. You can't let a chick you just met put your collegiate career in jeopardy. She immediately has no respect for you. Cheating is something you do for yourself, not to impress a girl. I fully understand why she didn't hook up with you. How good could such a sackless pushover be?
