They did that in MD a long time ago. Of course, it means that if the car has MD plates, you should assume it's braking at all times, because there's no guarantee the lights will come on.

If you get it, do you want to be buried in the wreckage?

Woulda been better on this one:

Then again, that might have inspired a DMV clerk to check out the URL and nix it for moral reasons.

Come to think of it, it would have been worth it just for that.

Saw one of these drive by today. Very intriguing. More so in the black the one I saw was.

There's one in my neighborhood, in a dark grey (probably Atlas Grey). Beautiful, though it's a bit bigger than I had imagined from photos.

We saw one of those at the LA Auto Show this weekend. Very nice styling. I fell in love with the A3 S-line hatchback. And Mr Man was quite fond of the 3-series wagon and the new VW GTI. So it is possible one of those 3 cars will be making its way into our garage this summer-fall when his lease is up. The X3 interior was underwhelming.

Gonna be buying a new car shortly... thoughts on these finalists? Planning on driving a few next week.

2006 Acura TL
2006 BMW 325xi
2006 Audi A4 2.0 Quattro
2006 Lexus IS250 AWD

Thanks. Like the BMW a lot but I'm leaning to the Acura right now because of price and all the standard gadgets on it (w/Nav. system).

2006 Acura TL Meh. I drove the old style and was not impressed. Might as well buy an Accord, which is fine for 10k less.
2006 BMW 325xi Best handler of the bunch. Nothing handles like a bimmer. Nothing breaks like one too. Except a Jag.
2006 Audi A4 2.0 Quattro Nice handling, great interior but kind of expensive for what you get. People I have talked to seem to have better reliability experiences than BMWs.
2006 Lexus IS250 AWD Haven't driven one but looks cool. Will swear by Toyota reliability

Thanks. Oddly enough the Lexus (Toyota) got me the highest quote from my insurance agent, a good 20% higher than the others (all in the same range). Might just be a function of the fact that it's a new model and they haven't had to repair enough of them to assess the costs, but I found that interesting.

That's a function of its boy-racer heritage.
