I totally agree, but I am on record as hating Ben Stiller. His schtick is more tired than Wonk's. And Mike Myers is so overanimated -- he just never turns it off.

Despite my general distaste for Ben Stiller and mere tolerance for Owen Wilson, I actually liked both of them in the Royal Tenenbaums.

Agreed. Any movie that breaks into an a cappella version of "Skyrockets in Flight" to explain what Love is -- well, it's not aspiring to true art. Sit back, watch, chuckle, and you can almost hear your brain cells die. What's a better way to spend an evening?

As it happens, I picked up a copy of Gravity's Rainbow just yesterday. Maybe the inspiration was thoughts of running dinosaurs, or perhaps that I was in City Lights, and felt pressured to get it or else I'd be stuck buying a Gregory Corso collection. Book review to come, though probably a couple of months hence.

Sure, some may mock, but I think the man's on to something. In fact, I myself have noticed that having both "Gatti" and "gap" in my name has gotten between me and my cyberspace fans. We've got to simplify it. Now, with it just being "Gatti," we won't have half the crowd off the mark in the concert halls. Now, everyone can just chant "Gatti."

I've always just thought of you as effiette-southern-liberal-commie-pinko, which has a certain ring to it.
