And he forgot massive obese guy playing in the summer.
My least favorite moment came in the summer at a court in Arlington Va. It had good games. i was on a team with 4 guys who knew other. The other team comes out and there is this 350 pound 6'2" guy. My teammates made me guard him, which meant boxing him on defense, because he just stood with his back to the basket and leaned back. Holding him out about killed me. Meanwhile he started out nasty sweaty and got worse throughout the game.
On offense all I did was stand outside and try to rest.
Once we won, I was so looking forward to the next game, until four guys walked out, "need 1." The world slowed. I knew what was going to happen before it did. Sure enough.

He really forgot "Argues every call" guy. That asshole ruins every game he's in, has never committed a foul, argues plays he's not even involved in, sometimes argues AGAINST his own teammate who has admitted to a foul and even argues from the sidelines while he's waiting for next. I despise him with the fire of a thousand angry suns.
I have come to terms with the differences between street ball pickup and indoor pickup, especially since my knees won't let me play outdoors much anymore. But I have to say that I prefer the "If you call a foul, the shot doesn't count" approach to the "And 1" rule. It really makes you think about whether or not the foul was meaningful. And if you call it late under the former set of rules, people laugh at you as they're running up the court in the opposite direction. (God, I hate late calls.)
I've had to guard super fat guy. He usually likes to go shirtless because all his extra body hair and fat and sweat needs to be shared with as many people as possible. I've played against at least two guys who I swore took their shirts off just because they could score two baskets a game from repulsing defenders away from them.
