Ty - If you have a few ideas, check prices locally. Then see what's on offer, and buy only if a good deal. My impression is you rarely find anything hard to get in a DFS - it's usually mainstream stuff, although sometimes expensive mainstream stuff. |

Re: No Faith in the Moral Standards of the Players as a Group Long-time listener, first-time caller (on this board) here. Next Tuesday I will be in downtown Toronto (first visit) for a morning business meeting, followed by lunch. The only direct flight I could get back home was at 9:20 PM, so I will have an afternoon and early evening to kill. I'd appreciate any suggestions for one or two interesting things I can do in the afternoon, and somewhere good for dinner (any cuisine will do; not picky). Thanks! |

 1. The background singer on the Pope's rap sounds pretty hot. 2. I came across a 1966 cut of Tina Turner singing River Deep Moutain High. Damn thing is supposed to have been a Phil Spector promo, but it looks like it was shot in 8 millimeter. You can draw a pretty straight line from Tina Turner to Beyoncé. And for raw, pour it all into the song and leave it on the stage, I'll pick my contemporary, Ms. Turner. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uj0wPrN_Y_4 |
