bnb -- I love the new avatar. I don't dislike you so much anymore. I don't know what's gotten into me.

I liked Mohawk a bunch -- don't recall it being particularly serious, but maybe I was a serious lad back then -- but haven't read any of his others.

So many new avatars, it's very hard to adjust. Particularly to paigow's -- it's not only because I'm used to seeing julianne moore in the wig staring out at me, waiting to utter foul truths, but also because ... a pastel shirt? Seems very unpaigow. That and the jaunty little leg kick. That's not to say I don't love it. it's kicky. Plus, paigow and bnb are now very coordinated, like mother-daughter tennis bracelets.

If it's any consolation, I doubt seriously that I'll ever change avatars.

Paigow's new avatar looks like Bea Arthur. Or my ex-stepmother-in-law.

I plan to change mine frequently, someday, when I figure out how to resize (heh, heh) and don't have to ask RT to do it for me.

Don't worry, sister. By the time we are settled into the Retirement Community and reminscinding fondly about our altruistic yet non-orgasm-inducing lovers, you will be used to it. Light blue is all the rage in Branson and I suspect it always will be. In fact, you will probalby be wearing a simlar outfit. Fringey will have a longer skirt- those legs won't look good encased in varicose veins.

I haven't had one of those since the 90s. I hope those memories won't crowd out the later ones, but senility is a cruel mistress.

Reminiscinding. A cannily appropriate typo.

Don't get too used to it. I'll be returning to the original tomorrow. Because I understand why it's appropriate to me, even if Paigow doesn't.

Sorry, Barely. I hope the goodwill my new avatar earned me with you will carry over.

Since the special someone should be doing something other than reading this, are these posts supposed to make the rest of us curious? Not that the special someone doesn't deserve the best wishes, but really?

And why the FUCK was I not invited (Sequels)?

Apropos of my new avatar, I have finally figured out why I adore it so much. At first I thought it was the camera angle, producing an outsized tennis racket, a smaller head, and tiny kicky old lady legs. But now I realize what it is. After watching a lotta French Open this weekend on bright orange terra batu, this lady is playing tennis on a background the color of my office walls. No lines, no dimensions, just office beige-gray. It is such a contrast to her festive outfit and high kickin energy.

And if you want to change avatars, all you have to do is do a yahoo search under "Images". the pics come up avatar sized. I got this one trying to find one for Bnb (who did just find on her own). I entered the words "tennis lady" and thre she is.

She is still with the sexy people, in case anyone is wondering. ANd I am pretty sure she is a big utterer of foul truths. In fact, I can almost hear her tell your avatar to stop being such a hussy and put on some clothes before you catch cold. Oh, and eat something. You are wasting away.

I cannot imagine that BnB would so blatantly and unsubtly try to portray herself as sexy on the internet like that. Thats so unsexy. Gotta be another reason. I know there was a cartoon avatar rage at some point but I never got why.

I think everyone was crystal clear that that isn't just on the internet, Pretty Lady. Your shift to Canadian punctuation may have something to do with it. ('Please, for the love of god, do not enter "fugly". ')

Perhaps soon everyone will call you Pretty Lady all the time. That could be fun . . .

I think this has been covered before but this is how people around me use punctuation in documents. It has therefore spilled over to my everyday punctuation because I lack the will to segregate work punctuation rules from leisure punctuation rules in my head. I'm sorry, dtb. I can only imagine how much this must disappoint you. If it makes you feel any better, I took out all references to "punctuating" before I posted this. In your honor.
