I like the curves. Cars should have more curves, if you ask me. Like this:

I thought about you when I was picking up a rental at a Hertz last week, and walked past a GT 350H Shelby Mustang on the way to my Le Car. Sadly, the woman at the counter wouldn't let me have it when I went back to check -- some story about how someone coming in on a later flight had it reserved. I think that she just was waiting for her lunch break.

That sucks. It would have cost you, though. I think that they go for over $100 per day. On the other hand, money well spent.

Ford now is selling copies to the general public, with only minor cosmetic changes, but with an available 5 speed stick shift.

What I had seen was they are over $300/day.

That's an awful lot of money for a penis extension.

Wanted

Dark red car, 4 doors, no more than 69" wide,* ability to connect iPod not thru radio tuning, compass-type thingy on rearview mirror that shows direction (preferably digitally). Standard shift.

Audi A4 comes in bright red. Lexus IS comes in bright red. Acura TSX comes in bright red. Acura TS (? TL?) comes in dark red, but is 72" wide or something.

*This is not an inside joke, it is an inability to judge width.

69" including the mirrors? There aren't too many cars that narrow, certainly not in the entry-lux segment you seem to be interested in. The Mazda 6 comes in a kinda dark red, but it's listed at 70+" wide, too.

Salsa and crimson are too bright, to me. The moroccan red works:

BMW used to make a color called Sienna red. If you were looking used, you might be able to find one (they stopped this color around 2004). Whatever you think of the picture, the color is very attractive in real life. Not that it's the color you want.

link to huge image

(I link because I care . . . about margins).
