Sweet pea, READ THE FUCKING QUOTE. You are supposed to say "You remind me of that guy with the red stapler in Office Space. What celebrity do you most identify with?"

Possible there is some banter between the statement and the question and it's not a monologue.

OH MY GOD - WAIT JUST ONE MINUTE!!! Two days ago on the subway this guy asked me if the train went to 14th St., AND THEN told me that I reminded him of the girl in Rosemary's Baby.

Oh, shit. I'm not hot at all. Wahhhhh!!!!

Its hard to describe, and that wasn't a good description. There are these guys who just don't get it. They go out volume hunting for women, and they think all women are receptive. They're usually in the 5'4 to 5'10 range and you can tell that they hit the gym a bit more than they need to. They're kind of aggressive and clueless. They seem to think they have a chance with women way the fuck out of their league, and they don't mind getting in the way if you're working on a woman. They're like interference - they make a mess of your ability to get anywhere with a woman. I have bad hearing to begin with, so when I'm standing at a bar trying to listen to a woman, and there's three or four Vinnies talking loudly to attract women nearby, it creates so much white noise in my head that I can’t concentrate. These guys seem to work in groups and dress alike, and they seem to be louder than everybody else (I think they think that talking loud will attract women). Maybe I’m being a snob, but they just don’t behave normally.

Am I at all getting my point across. This is hard to explain. I guess what I'm describing are overly confident men who aren't alpha males, but act like goons in a failed attempt to portray what they think alpha males act like. These men swarm Philly bars like locusts.

No, she was hot. She was married to Sinatra for a while.

Is that correlation or causation?

Correlation.

But I do love Frank. His boxed set is so damned good.

You are the whiffiest whiffer ever, but on you, it's cute.

But without the voice, Sinatra'd just be some leather-jacket clad alpha-male wannabe in a Jersey bar.

Yeh, but thats one hell of a voice. Makes all the difference.

ETA: Mia Farrow is attractive, objectively, Frank or no Frank.

If Paigow hadn't abandoned us for Spankyville, she would note that I invented posting pictures of Frank and Mia, followed by a line something like "Paigow, you are the Mia to my Frank, circa 1965."

Ok, she wouldn't, but anyway. Sniff. I miss her.

Random question -- has her absence made the FB any less sticky?

Slave seems to be posting here less often. In fact, he seems to have followed paigow over to the Spanky Board. Ah, true love.

Despite her wealth of knowledge of personal details, she was never particularly intimate with anyone.

What's up with this RT? I thought we were hermanas. I have never been so deceived.

Please. Don't make me hurt you.
Puh-leaze. Everyone knows that my modus operandi is to get guys drunk in a bar and then take them home.

Plus, none of my porn, oddly enough, is on DVD. VHS and downloaded onto the computer, but not DVD.

When I was younger, shorter, greasier, and went to bars, I had tremendous success with the ladies with the line: "Hi, I'm Flinty. Buy me a drink?" Chicks dig the role reversal and the power to choose. Nothing says good loving more than a short greasy monkey lush who can't buy himself a drink.
