AI (where is tmdiva?)

I was out and wasn't watching the clock, so missed the first half. From what I saw plus the little snippets they showed at the end, it looked like everyone performed better than last week. Better song choices, more confidence, etc.

I thought Scott Savol was awesome last night, and I don't know why Randy was kind of down on him. He picked a hard song, with that fast-moving verse, and every note was in tune.

Nikko was better, but still had some pitch problems at the ends of phrases in his mid range.

Travis was better, but still doesn't have all that strong a voice.

Anthony SUCKS! I hope he goes home this week, but I'm sure his blonditude has tin-eared teenagers across America swooning as they madly hit redial. They've got to stop comparing him to Clay. He's cuter, but he just hasn't got the chops. Clay had/s annoying mannerisms, but every note he sang was effortless and dead-center on pitch. Nothing that comes out of Anthony's mouth comes remotely close.

Bo is the man. He could stand to lose his spare tire, sure, but he has lots of experience performing with a live band, and it shows. My sister and her husband (former rock band drummer) observed that he'd probably covered that tune a million times with his band. He's from Alabama, people, you'd better believe it!

In spite of only getting snippets, I voted for Anwar and Constantine (who didn't seem to be having the same mike problems as last week). From the second half I voted for Scott and Bo.

Bo Bice- he is my main man. My runaway favorite. He answered the question, "Are the contestants forced to sing lite FM or is that by choice?" The Allmans on AI? Dude, call Sebby, this shit just got good. And he was GREAT. Better than Gregg (after too much bottle). I watched it three times. He was the only one who sounded original (thoughthat might have been a function of avoiding the Al Green or Celine Dion formula). I was so inspired I voted for him and I didnt think I was gonna vote until barely announced her love for the scrawny russian kid and she and I locked horns.

Good question. At the risk of incurring pony's wrath, I'll answer. Had not really thought about it. I think my pink novelty t-shirt with a big-ass wedding cake and "BIG MISTAKE" on it might be a bit much, even though it makes my TITS!! look big for some reason.

I think jeans, and a betsey johnson top (also makes TITS! look big), and high heeled boots and my furry jacket. And lots of concealer, because I'm really fucking tired.
