Ah, but that's what makes it 1) really, really good for you; and, more importantly, 2) able to stand up to big red wines. Not easy to find that in fish. Salmon and pinot are a perfect match, but a nice piece of pan-seared Oregon chinook will work nicely with a cab.

I've been bulky from sport. I basically looked no different than I do now in clothes, but nekkid I looked like Linda Hamilton in the 2nd terminator movie (well, Arnold from the hips down). I could not wear trousers, but I could jog up 12 flights of stairs without getting winded. And men drooled over my rock-hard ass.

I'm straight, NTTAWWT.

Nowadays, I see PLENTY of women who are too bulked up from weights.

I also see what I like to call "stairmaster ass", which when a girl's ass and upper legs have become too muscular (w/out the tone) from that exercise. I have no empirical evidence to support this. Just observations.

what is "too bulked up"? I guess this all hinges on how this is defined.

And how does one get lots of muscle without any tone? I don't do stairmaster. I find it disturbing.

I disagree.* Utility from cardio exercise exceeds utility from free weights when you're overweight. Assuming you have a limited amount of time to spend exercising, weight loss will be achieved at a higher rate if one focuses on cardio.
Weight loss isn't necessarily the goal. Fat loss is. Since muscle weighs more than fat, initially, while you're building muscle, you might not lose weight. But you will be losing fat. And the toning of the muscles also helps sculpt the fat on your body for a better appearance on top of that. So, I disagree with you.

Besides, I didn't say you should replace cardio with lifting. The two should go together.

On another note, does anyone know of any family-friendly (small children) dog breeds that also are security oriented (German Shephard)?
Is there something you want to tell us?

And on the mundane, helpful side (now that the one liner is done), properly bred and trained German Shepherds and Rottweilers are supposed to make wonderful family dogs . The down side is that many people perceive them as vicious and will not trust them around their children.

Ah, yes, but the tastiest I've ever had is Sockeye from way up north. I got my hands on that stuff a few years back and it was unreal.

Not much of a wine drinker. My favorite food remains tuna steak sashimi rare or steak tartare with a glass of Knob Creek. But if I'm having wine, its usually a cab or a merlot. Merlot compliments steak nicely and cabs are just perfect with any red sauce. Other than champagne, I won't even sip anything white made from grapes.

Curiously, these are the ones I'm accustomed to.

Now, legal question: If they are jujyfruits, what's with the licorice-flavored ones? And who came up with the idea that licorice and "fruit" flavors are two great tastes that taste great together? They aren't. They should remain separate, each to be enjoyed separately, in large quantities, at the movies, washed down by ginormous sodas.

And, too many people wrong-headedly breed them to be vicious.

This is how my trainer explained it to me. Women with long muscles will get bulky. Women with short muscles won't. I have short muscles and lift very heavy. I don't get bulky. You can tell if you have long or short muscles by flexing your bicep and seeing how many fingers you can put between the crease in your elbow and your bicep. short muscles - 3-5 fingers. long muscles 1-2 fingers.

That is very interesting. My muscles seem to be long. I don't feel like I get bulky? But then, who can tell under the rippling masses of fat.

But weight loss is the initial and most important goal. Muscle is more dense than fat, but the difference is much smaller than people think (currently looking for actual density ratio). And fat can never be transformed into muscle. And you should do the two together, but not until you've lost a sufficient enough weight. Also, if it comes down to only having time to do one or the other, do the cardio.
