And not just any regional board, but the Boston board.

We're all boring and unstylish.
It's nice to know I fit in somewhere.

The only reality TV I watch is sports.

6 outs to go, is it possible? Do the Sox get to play another game tomorrow?

Phew! One more game to go. Gotta love the Sox, they do know how to make a series interesting.

It's hell on the work around here. The firm brought in a bunch of beer and pizza and from 4 on the main conference room was packed.

But it was easy to find people.

Unfortunately I couldn't leave my office (interior - no radio reception). I called my Yankee-fan brother in Connecticut to hear the 9th innning. It was an interesting play-by-play, didn't hear the final three outs called, just three loud Shit's!

At the beginning of the season I would have agreed with you. Until recently I was very unimpressed with him and his attitude. He seemed to sulk and mope all the time. I live near the Dominican neighborhood and they are not too fond of him either (he also doesn't come around the neighborhood the way Pedro does).

I have noticed a change in the last month or two. Ever since he got rid of the pajama pants and went to the red socks/short pants look. He seems to be having fun, more emotion, he sprints and hustles on occasion. Haven't seen him sulk recently. Wonder what changed. Maybe he's getting some?

Anne
I still think the patent-leather-spat-like cleats are a fashion don't, but what do I know.

Nowadays, people are taking their cellphones everywhere -- but yapping while sitting on the can is just plain rude.

We know he thinks Zimmer is one.

I can see why Graig wanted an 18-0 win. Today was like the mets in Game 6 in 1986--they had to win to avoid Mike Scott.

If there's one thing that Clemens still is, is a big-game loser.

So is Pedro. Should be interesting to say the least.

I cannot recall the last time the Yankees won a day game in the Playoffs at home. Drives me friggin insane.

Excellent point! I'll ask him to avoid that particular bodily function if the situation repeats itself tomorrow evening.

This should make you feel better: New York has not lost a best-of-seven series in which it led 3-2 coming home since the 1926 World Series against St. Louis.

Anne
(Why am I cheering up a Yankees fan?)
