Oops- partner interuptus.

Issue involves a child suing for prenatal inuries allegedly inflicted during a failed abortion - thus it is not a true 'wrongful life' claim. How do I respond to this?

Plain as the nose on my face. Disfigured infant walks the earth, seeking to wreak a terrible revenge on the doctor that tried to abort him, but couldn't -- because of his incredibly strong will to live and superhuman abilities. The boy eventually locates the doctor and defeats a series of karate goons hired as bodyguards for his island headquarters, killing each with a pithy baby-talk quip (example: "Bad man fall down and go 'boom.'"). Finally, he corners the doctor in a hall of mirrors and doctor expresses the desire to finish the job he'd started. After a mighty struggle, baby gets the upper hand and is throttling him to death, when suddenly a bearded Jesus appears. "It's not worth it," says bearded Jesus. Tears streaming down his cherubic cheeks, the baby releases its grip and turns away. The doctor takes the opportunity to lunge at Jesus with a scalpel he'd been concealing all along in his blood-stained scrubs and is about to stab Jesus in the throat. "Jesus Christ, look out!" screams the baby. Startled, Jesus spins to face the baby's voice, causing the doctor to crash through the mirrored wall and fall to his death on a cobblestone courtyard five stories below. (Close up shot of scalpel here; flecks of blood can be seen on the blade.) Baby and Jesus share a knowing look. Music swells to indicate that baby can finally move on to build a life with the cute twentysomething activist who saved his life in a truck stop scrape in Act II. The End.

Or that. In retrospect, probably that.

Can I call whiff on the outer boards? Or is that like calling three seconds in the key in an Aussie rules match?
