Firm Dumps Thousands of Files
 

Today's Sarasota Herald-Tribune reports that the defunct law firm Annis, Mitchell, Cockey, Edwards and Roehn abandoned tens of thousands of confidential client files following their 2001 bankruptcy.

The landlord ultimately dumped the files up in a dumpster when the attorneys in the Ft. Myers office failed to pick them up after two years.
