What a wonderful home this is.

I'm first and oh so unfashionable.

Speaking of fashionistas, has anyone seen the new "movie" of the same title? I heard it won a lot of awards or something....

evenodds 03-25-2003 05:43 PM

Is this the same software we used before?

http://smilies.networkessence.net/s/...eetz/boobs.gif

I figured I had to offer at least a little fashionista content...

Alex_de_Large 03-26-2003 10:20 AM

What did I do wrong? Is the image/smilie insertion code turned off?

Edit: just noticed that [img] code is off...

ThurgreedMarshall 03-26-2003 10:21 AM

What gives? I can't find anything to complain about yet.

No, it isn't the same software. It is based on the same software but it is actually proprietary.

Leagl,

Why do we have edit buttons showing on *everyone's* posts, not just our own?

(It wouldn't let me modify others' posts, but still. My hopes of editing LFM's missives were dashed.)

edited b/c I am stupid.

I think the reason they have it there is b/c it requires fewer database calls if it just shows up for everyone. In other words, it would have to perform extra database queries for everyone when drawing a page in order to decide whether or not to show the image. This way, it only runs the query when the link is clicked, which reduces the load on the server.

I was going to exert my limited powers by editing Gattigap's post, only to find I cannot edit either.

First, I lose my "too sexy for her rank" distinction.

Then, I lose my powers.

I am powerless. :(

Merely an oversite. Leagle hasn't set up moderators yet. (I don't think).

actually, you can create your own custom title by going to user cp > edit profile and then inputting what you want in the "Custom User Text" box. :)

Yup, still works...
