Lesson: If Penske is boycotting this because he lost a K-race, we're fucked.

I don't know what hunger statistics he's talking about, but I'm curious about what the definition of "food insecure" is: http://feedingamerica.org/faces-of-h...tatistics.aspx
Food insecure means that you will, on a regular basis, have to choose between food and getting your kid that check-up; you might have to choose between eating and paying the water bill or the rent. Little things like that. It also means that you live in a neighborhood where there is no grocery store for five miles in any direction, but there is a bodega selling pork rinds and Monster on every corner.

The fact that you call it that tells me you're not ready.

I didn't lose. I abstained to give others a chance. There's a difference. It's like the time I retired after Hawaii, to give others a chance at the slot I kept nailing. No pun intended.

I'm waiting for a thread title from Ty. I don't think having "Penske" in the title improves post counts* however.

*quality-adjusted post counts.

Proposed rule for house hunting:

The house you want is always A*1.25 where "A" is the amount you planned to spend.

If the adjustment factor is only 1.25, then you also must figure the house is only .85*H, where "H" is the house you want.

Yes, I think that's just about right on post-purchase improvements. So the real expense will end up being (A*1.25)/.85.

With daughters, there is a similar bit of math for wedding costs as the lawn and garden size increases.

Not sure what the qualitative scale is. Why don't you submit it on the Mods board for consideration.......?

As to quantity, the last thread with my name looks like it was outpacing Ty's thread at about a 7 to 1 posts pace.

Just increase the number of hours in the day, bill more hours, up your revenue stream accordingly and things should be all good.

Using comparable time periods, it's merely 3:2.
