Nude posse
I love that they call them posse.
PHOENIX (AP) -- A county prosecutor rejected about 60 prostitution cases because of the questionable conduct of some undercover deputies and volunteer posse members.
About a half dozen deputies and posse members engaged in nudity and sexual contact in meetings with suspected prostitutes during a sting operation.
"They knew right from the beginning that I was going to authorize nudity for my guys on a case-by-case basis," said Capt. Don Schneidmiller, who supervised the investigation. "We knew by willing to be nude, they were going to solicit us and they did. ... We had mechanisms in place if in fact a contact was made, we were able to put a stop to it immediately. ... There was no completion of any sexual act.
