In a nutshell, the current GOP candidate for US Senate in IL, Jack Ryan, was hit with a bombshell yesterday as court records were unsealed from his divorce from actress Jeri Ryan of Star Trek Voyager and Boston Public fame. In the filings, she accused him of taking her on three occasions to clubs where sex acts were being performed and of pressuring her to participate. She refused. He wasn't then, but now at least in a political sense, he's fucked.
Also noted in the filings, despite her very healthy acting income, she got $20 mil. worth of stock in his former employer Goldman Sachs in the deal... don't know what he kept, but sounds like he got fucked twice, because she admitted to infidelity.
On the bright side, Jack has a potential goldmine staring him in the face after he loses the election. Set up a booth at Star Trek Conventions and sign autographs for $10 a piece under a banner which reads "I Nailed Seven of Nine". If he throws in stories of what it's like to be with an actual woman, he would clean up with that crowd...
