I don't see why this is a surprise. The country is so polarized I expect almost EVERYONE who hates Bush to go see it. Lots of Bush supporters will go, if for no other reason than so they know what shit the guy is saying.
These both would apply red or blue states. the reddest of the red are 70/30%. 30% of the people in any area as potential viewers still equals a big box office. Do you think 30% of the people anywhere would consider seeing "Dodgeball?"
I do wish anyone who goes, first reads MM "statement" from 9/12/01. He's a nut. once you know what you want to prove, finding evidence isn't hard.
