I'd like to present a little bit of objectivity, as an Oriols fan/Baltimore resident.
Yankes and Red Sox fans are far and away more annoying than any other team. And not just because they tend to have more fans in the area. The Mariners, for example, always seem to bring out a large (very polite) energetic crowd.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that in my person experience, Boston fans are worse if you're actually going to the game. They're just dicks all around. Maybe it's because they're so excited to see their beloved Sox play, and maybe even have a chance to win.
However, Yankees fans are generally pretty dumb. They'll walk into the middle of the street against the light. They'll cut you off. They'll yell in the face of the really huge guy. It's surprising more don't die on a regular basis. Plus, I believe "The alleged victim was a Yankees fan" is a complete defense to a homocide charges within the State of Maryland.
So, a pox on both your houses.
