Best Week Ever on the FB - 7/4/04 edition
Welcome guys and gals, it's time for str8's Best FB Week Ever, where witty insiders recap the top ten things we loved about the Fashion Board for the week ending July 4, 2004.
Without further ado:
10) The (brief) return of Leagl. With witty tales about the reactions of men to two women kissing, and correcting misapprehensions about lesbo pregnancy, the FB came to remember how much it missed its founding little jewish pink-triangle sporting mama.
9) Patentpara getting ripped a new one for all sorts of reasons, but most memorably for using the dreaded "I really like blah blah blah. Not." TM was dead on in letting Patentpara know that "Not" is "Not Funny." If you're employing a Gareth Keenan reference in an unironic manner, it's probably not going to help the old hipster factor.
8) Pics of Paige Davis and Catherine deNeuve. Hubba hubba hubba.
7) Nicole Richie. Is she black? Hispanic? The one thing on which we can all agree is what Less pointed out -- the bitch is "skank-ho ugly."
6) BnB and RP. When they weren't swooning over Kevin Bacon, Johnny Depp, and various soccer studs, they were propositioning NFH, writing insightful essays on posters' thirst-for-crushes, musing about the various uses of the fluffernutter, and tweaking ABBA's rosebuds by chatting about the boobies. You can spelll BnB and RP without "DD," but why would you want to?
5) Farrell and his fluffer. Nothing had the ladies of the FB swooning quite like the thought of cashing in their career for a chance to help their favorite Irish charmer take the stage.
4) What do you call a street fight in Africa? Why, a road tussle, natch. Good times.
3) Euro Sports! Led by Penske, Anne Elk and AdL, it was all Fitba, cycling, more fitba, rugby (including nasty knee injury photos), and fitba. For once, talk of the Greeks had nothing to do with slot c action.
2) Dropping trou to pee. True story or not, the FB loved the thought of the partner's big white ass exposed at the urinal.
