Whether or not it was a public forum, it was a government actor, and a content-based restriction. And Bush was making a presidential visit. If you think it was essentially a campaign event, why were tax dollars paying for it? They're only supposed to pay Pakistanis to help his campaign.
And I didn't say the White House made the call here. I just said it was wrong.
