Back when folks were curious about the nature of the president's national guard service, we were assured by the WH that they had produced all relevant documents proving Bush's fulfillment of his duties. To me this would imply that they looked through the files and divulged everything they had on the question. But apparently that's not the case, because it took the filing of a lawsuit weeks later for the admin to go look into the files and find out that, lo and behold, the microfilmed documents
have been destroyed.
I don't have much editorializing to do here. I am surprised, yet not surprised.
