Although TTs are pretty boring when you know the outcome. Nevertheless, Tivo once again will be greatly appreciated tonight.

Speaking of watching OLN, I was at the neighbor's house last night (who commented on my allegedly growing backside) and she was watching the tour. When I told her I was a bit surprised to find her watching it (since I've known her 25 years and have never even heard her utter the words bike, cycling, lance, or "the Tour") and she responded "Well, we are British". She said this quod erat demonstrandum. My question to you...I wouldn't really place the English with the rest of hte European cycling nuts...is saying "we're British" like saying "we're French" in response to a comment of surprise in following the tour?

Oh, God, yes. We're talking about a totally outrageous paradigm.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.
