Apropos of the current golfing discussion, I'm not sure how many of you saw the
story in the NYT about the kid who made a video of himself doing star wars, lightsaber-like moves with a golf ball retriever. Apparently, the video spread all over the internet and give many people a good laugh at the price of the kid's humiliation.
Well, a guy who runs the website
www.waxy.org (a tech-focused weblog) decide to take up a donation for his fellow "geek" and ened up
raising over $4,000 for the kid. That should take a bit of the sting out of his humiliation. I guess the kid gets the last laugh.
At any rate, if you're up for a chuckle, you can view the

Original Unedited Video on our site. They are pretty funny. There's a bit of sound, but it's not too loud. Still, consider yourself warned.
