Remember this is a guy who loves listening to screeching Japanese art punk while telling opposing counsel they have to "take it or leave it" when it comes to terms in the supplier agreements he negotiates for 3M. Of course he's scared of having corporate control over the one last area of "free choice" in his life.

I am not quite so strident. Although I found the apology "unconvincing" for the reasons you articulated, it's not all Melt Banana and the Boredoms for me. I'm right now listening to to a Fela Kuti mixed CD, which is rather mellow and corporate-friendly, provided you do not listen to the words or know who Fela was.
