Oh sure. Garcia looks like a rat. And why is it that we do not instead say that rats look like Garcia? It is time we think about the specist notions some of us hold.
If someone says he wants to keep his distance from homosexuals and hopes that homosexuals keep their collective distance from him, my guess is that the person is homophobic. In fact, I do not think there is much room for debate here. So let's just drop this boring thread and get going on the far more interesting species-related discussion.
