I believe I recall your saying you are tall and fit, etc. You are likely not smaller/weaker than at least 50% of the adult population. It's just not "hard wired" into you. But why is it so hard for you to understand that remarks from strangers can feel threatening for someone who is?

You know, as to your second paragraph, I wouldn't understand it. You're right. I've been threatened and been in many fights with people bigger than me, but there never was a sexiual compenent to any of it. I was kind of guessing based on some comments my wife used to make about workmen leering at her. I called her a snob because her derision sounded more classist than borne of real fear. Great. She probably thinks I'm a boorish dick. Wait. She thinks that already...
