No, to get girls football and basketball were (in my school) best, followed third by track and field, as opposed to swimming and soccer, which were down the line considerably.

Oddly enough, our football and basketball teams got no respect from the ladies, even though our football team was ranked nationally (in USA Today) my senior year. The soccer and tennis teams (or guys that didn't play sports) got all of the chicas (seriously). Probably b/c my HS was very segregated class-wise. No real middle class. Upper-middle and lower.
