Indeed! I've never had a school nightmare - had one work nightmare the other week, but that is the only one ever. But waitressing nightmares? Every night for about the first month of work. Always every single table in the place would sit down at the same time and I couldn't get out of the waitress station to get to any of them. Horrible.
Also I had tree-planting dreams (not really nightmares, because they were not that scary), when I did that. I planted millions of trees every night, over and over again. I still do, sometimes. I injured the nerve in my middle finger of my right hand while tree-planting (common injury), and sometimes I still wake up after a tree-planting nightmare with no feeling in my middle finger and it's sticking straight up and I can't get it down for a few minutes. It's because I've been clenching the shovel in my sleep, not saying fuck you to the man.
