Which is why we need a progressive income tax and the imposition of a governmental bureaucracy, albeit an inefficient one, to stand between you and those in need.
But at least it's cheaper than living in a walled compound and paying armed guards to protect you from the unwashed masses. And it's easier than beating off the beggars in the streets.
