Just a general note. The Chicago Tribune website always has on the front page 20 or 25 pictures from some of the top or more interesting stories of the week. chicagotribune.com Its actually one of my favorite things to go through on the internet, because they always have some human interest thing or another from in the city.
Whenever I hear about a coyote in Chicago, I invariably think, "stray mutt", whatever. This morning, the whole "Coyote swimming in the Chicago river downtown" thing had me giggling as I pictured some old lady in a high rise calling Ch. 9 as she watched a stuffed animal float by.
I didn't see the update that indicated they actually caught a coyote in a drain pipe to or from the river. So, today I'm scrolling through the pictures, and lo and behold, picture #6 is a very wet coyote getting dragged from the river by animal control. Whudda thunk it.
