I can see why some people (particularly those who are older and less tech-savvy) might jump to the conclusion that because this is an internet chat board, the users must be younger, but I can attest that there are a fair number of partner types around these parts. Maybe if they had understood that we here are his target audience, and not school children, they might have been less patronizing.
