I say, "Yeah, you know, some of the things counsel for the other side has tried to pull have crossed the line and basically amount to malpractice, but it looks like you guys are going to get paid, finally."
He says, "Yep. But I just hate what these jew-motherfuckers did to us on this." He was, of course, on speaker.
Disgusting. I paused, not believing what I just heard and he said, "Excuse my French, you may be part Jewish for all I know." I told him it didn't matter whether I was or not, but I didn't think what he said was cool."
He quickly apologized (kinda) and hung up.
People fucking suck.
The partner I was helping on this who is working for free is jewish. Where do you get the fucking nerve? How often does this happen to people on this board? I'd like to know.

Last week I was discussing quarterbacks with an older (60+) and very sports-knowledgable female admin. We're discussing Peyton Manning and how good he is, but how terrible of a scrambler he is, and then all of a sudden I get this: "I just don't trust those black QBs. I don't think they're smart enough to play QB." Me: nothing. Complete silence. At least ten seconds of it. And then: "Yeah, that Peyton Manning. He sure is good."
