Penn Jillette, of Penn & Teller fame has
written a novel entitled "Sock". Lest there be any doubt that our own penske provided inspiration for this thriller, consider:
"What makes 'Sock' so different is its narrator. It is told almost entirely by Dickie, the diver's stuffed monkey. A homemade monkey, made of old socks and stuffed with discarded pantyhose. A rockin' sock monkey. A bad wammerjammer sock monkey. He watches the investigation unfold with loving -- if slightly jaundiced -- button eyes."
