What annoys me more than either is the credit card cos' new marketing approach for when you call to activate a card.
Two years ago, if you dialed from home and confirmed that you had in fact received a card, it was activated. Now? Wait for three minutes of telemarketing, opportunities to purchase credit insurance, "please wait while we verify the card" and other BS before it's finally activated. Guess they must have upgraded to the newest windows software--only way it could take longer to verify now than in 2002.
