Stuff
1. Baseball. Thank god it's over. Now if I can just survive this week hopefully I'll be treated to at least 6 months of no baseball talk.
2. Halloween.
a. I need a quick and easy costume. Assuming I drag my ass out this weekend for some fun. It's been a little while since I really went out and I'm feeling some pent up restlessness.
b. Last year I spent part of Halloween night at a friend's house in a serious trick-or-treat neighborhood. For the first hour or so, it was fun answering the door and talking to the kids, but we got bored with it and came up with the clever plan to just leave the bowl of candy outside with a note to help themselves. While it would seem that this wouldn't work, we found that if we threw a little more candy out every 15 minutes or so, the doorbell ringing stopped and we were allowed to drink and smoke in peace. I'm sure the parents were happier with this arrangement too, as before we figured it out, we were drinking and smoking on the front stoop. Happy fucking Halloween, kids.
3. Unrequited Love. I tend to agree that it doesn't sound like this guy was such a prick. And I have to say - RT you need to advise your friend not to fall so hard for guys w/i 4 months. In my circles, that would send most guys running.
