I was going to suggest yellow as well. We and three different neighbors all have yellow paint in the kitchens, and the color works well with a variety of cabinet and countertop combinations. While they're all slightly different, most are of a pale lemon variety. Just for the record, we did our kitchen first of the neighbors.
Or you could go full-on 50s to match the tile and do a pink grapfruit pink. Sounds bad at first, but think about it.
