2. But I did once have a partner call Northwest Airlines and threaten them with all sorts of nasty things if they went ahead and bumped me from the flight that they were trying to kick me off of. I would have been happy to spend the night in Minnesota on Northwest's dime, but apparently I was essential for the next day's hearings.
