Eh, fair enough. Personally, I'm Google proof, as I share a fairly common name with a semi-famous person such that nothing about me pops up in at least the first 10 pages of results.
But I would not be offended if, and woul even expect, someone meeting me professionally (which is different, I agree) to look me up in Martindale, and perhaps follow his nose from there (not that that gets you anywhere, especially since my current employer doesn't list us in Martidale).
